Located on a wooded site on the edge of the Sandy River in Troutdale, Oregon, this 3,000 square foot, house is designed as a transition between the wooded landscape and the river. A tapered, board-formed concrete wall serves as an organizing element, connecting the two natural features. Within the house it separates the private spaces from the more public ones.
